Perception, Hinge
An Alternative Existence for Individuals and Families through Community Supported Agriculture
The Perception Campus and the Community Supported Agriculture project are the result of our efforts to stand up for what is right in the face of the ecological, sociological, psychological/biological crises of our time. We hope to be part of creative solutions that place people and all aspects of the natural world at the center through our work at our campus.
Community Supported Agriculture is a crucial part of a larger project of consciousness change. We want to contribute to increased joy and security in the world by creating a healing and nurturing environment for all beings. We do this by being true to ourselves, shining our light, coming together and thus transforming our world.
Located in the Algı compound, among 350 olive trees, our house offers comfort and holds space for a sustainable life. We get all our electricity from solar panels, our water comes from our well and we use dry compost toilets.
Transportation to Perception Campus
To reach the Algı campus, we walk 1.4 km on a dirt road from the asphalt, through cultivated fields, forest views and birdsong. It is also possible to enter by car from time to time.
The 2-story main building has a stone living room, a concrete second floor, and a wooden floor covering. We heat ourselves with stoves on both floors, using wood collected from the compound grounds.
